About the Role

The role supports skilled craft workers by assisting with assigned duties and, when needed, performing tasks in other crafts appropriate to the employee’s training and skills. The employee must follow direction from higher‑skilled workers or a foreman. This job is classified as safety‑sensitive, meaning its tasks could impact the safety and health of the employee or others, including operation of vehicles, equipment, power tools, and handling of hazardous or combustible materials. • Eliminate waste by reducing waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time. • Seek supervisor guidance when unsure about work or safety practices. • Learn and follow all safety hazards related to the job. • Safely operate and use tools and equipment. • Identify improvement opportunities and learn from others. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Deliver high‑quality work safely and productively. • Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials, tools, and information.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include completion of the NCCER Core Curriculum or a high school diploma, along with one to three years of experience in industrial or commercial construction, depending on the level. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also required. The position requires consistent use of personal protective equipment such as steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, and vest. Employees must be able to reach, stoop, climb, lift up to 50 lb, and work in confined or uneven spaces, often for up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions while complying with all safety standards. • Perform basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
