About the Role
Mortenson is seeking a Laborer to assist fellow laborers and journeymen with material handling, equipment assembly and disassembly, work area preparation, and cleaning of machines and workspaces. • Load and unload equipment. • Supply materials and tools to other trades. • Clean work areas, machines, and equipment. • Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5x7x16) and staging. • Level ground for scaffolding installation. • Operate motor and grout tasks, moving and shoveling materials. • Perform general cleanup and debris removal, including sweeping, washing, and disposal. • Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete. • Build effective relationships with diverse coworkers and organizational levels.

What You Bring
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, as the company does not sponsor employment visas for this role. • Vibrate concrete to achieve proper finish. • Prior construction experience preferred. • Proficient with power and hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies. • Demonstrate strong teamwork, positive attitude, customer service, attention to detail, active listening, and open communication. • Capable of repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements. • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb (over 50 lb only with assistance or equipment).
