About the Role
The Network Architect is responsible for designing, supporting, managing, and maintaining the network infrastructure, conducting analysis, modeling, and planning, and acting as an architect consultant for all network initiatives. This role designs complex datacenter, LAN, and WAN strategies, coordinates implementation, optimization, and operation of network systems, and provides strategic planning, evaluations, and recommendations to users and management while maintaining comprehensive design records. • Coordinate network strategies and technology selection with business and IT stakeholders. • Develop and communicate long‑term infrastructure and enterprise architecture vision to executive leadership. • Serve as a hands‑on expert for enterprise‑wide network infrastructure, advancing Zero Trust Network Access initiatives. • Define infrastructure and enterprise architecture principles and standards. • Lead vendor evaluation, selection, procurement, and management of network technology solutions. • Design and implement datacenter, LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, DNS/DHCP, and VPNs. • Install, configure, and monitor network equipment and performance. • Create and maintain detailed network design artifacts, documentation, and technical deliverables. • Evaluate system/network performance and recommend enhancements and innovations. • Manage hardware/software upgrades, firmware patches, and subcontractor installations. • Develop and troubleshoot Aruba ClearPass policies and legacy network designs.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • 10+ years of enterprise network design, implementation, and support in complex architectures. • Cisco routing and switching expertise; NextGen firewall, wireless, and load balancer experience. • CCNP/CCDP or equivalent certifications. • Preferred: Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba wireless, F5 load balancers, Infoblox DNS/DHCP experience.
