About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee daily operations of one or more supply chain projects, coordinating product selection, deliveries, and subcontractor installations with internal SourceBlue teams. This includes managing scopes of work, bid packages, vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with purchasing and risk management policies. Work will be performed both on construction sites—exposed to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, weather, and electrical hazards—and in office or remote settings with varying noise levels. Employees must adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws while working in these environments. • Participate in discussions with SourceBlue and Turner BU Business Development teams to secure business opportunities. • Support technical sales efforts for Business Development/Pre‑Construction, including client presentations, package reviews, estimates, and scheduling. • Partner with SB Preconstruction teams to assess logistics for product estimating. • Maintain compliance with purchasing and risk management policies and procedures. • Develop project‑specific scopes of work for vendors and review them with the SB National Supply Chain team. • Create and issue bid packages to vendors; analyze bids and prepare analysis spreadsheets for project review. • Solicit vendor product pricing for project estimates and budgeting. • Assess vendor contract terms, coordinate reviews, close the bid process, and communicate award decisions. • Coordinate vendor packages with project teams and subcontractors to convey full equipment scope. • Draft and route vendor purchase orders. • Create, update, and maintain purchasing and submittal logs. • Manage vendor submittals, factory testing, product delivery, equipment start‑up, training, warranties, and documentation. • Oversee project budget and financial reporting; interpret reports and escalate issues as needed. • Administer project and vendor payment applications and track receivables.

What You Bring

The position requires regular physical activity such as climbing stairs and ladders, using hoists, and performing tasks that involve sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and handling objects up to 25 lb (occasionally 50 lb). The role also demands frequent use of a computer monitor, keyboard, and visual acuity for close and peripheral vision. • Minimum 8 years of commercial construction experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, or finished products. • Knowledge of regional commercial construction market, competition, and industry trends. • Strong negotiation and interpersonal relationship‑building skills. • Understanding of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, engineering principles, contracts, drawings, specifications, and cost control procedures. • Proven project management ability to handle high‑volume, complex projects. • Advanced presentation and communication skills, tailored to audience needs. • Solid critical‑thinking and decision‑making judgment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative tools. • Ability to travel regularly.
