About the Role
Each day you’ll service trucks and equipment that support over 20 million customers nationwide, using modern tools to maintain diesel and, at some sites, CNG fleets. Your work directly impacts the safety and reliability of the community’s essential services. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diverse vehicles. • Estimate time and material costs; document repairs and parts usage. • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times and respond to emergency breakdown calls. • Conduct safety checks and maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area. • Assist senior mechanics and handle driver vehicle inspection report repairs.

What You Bring
We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience handling Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) systems; experience with diesel and waste‑industry equipment is a plus. The role involves frequent physical activity such as lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and standing, with exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities. • Minimum 2 years relevant experience and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical. • Physical demands include frequent lifting, pulling, crouching, standing, and exposure to noise, chemicals, and weather.
