About the Role
The Remote Operations Supervisor role, based near Kalamazoo, MI, lets you lead dynamic multi‑site facility operations from a home office while traveling to diverse facilities to address daily challenges and opportunities. In this position you will track performance metrics, collaborate with regional teams, streamline processes, and serve as the driving force behind efficient facility management, blending strategic thinking with hands‑on problem solving. • Communicate owner/landlord processes to engineers and contractors for building infrastructure work. • Identify, update, and implement policies, procedures, and best practices. • Detect safety hazards and coordinate remediation with EH&S and account teams. • Manage refrigerant purchases, tracking compliance and cost control. • Gather data for business reporting and monitor SLA performance. • Track work orders in Corrigo and enforce Not‑To‑Exceed (NTE) limits. • Oversee operation, staffing, performance, and development of technical teams, including reviews and policy compliance. • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of technicians. • Ensure consistent performance metrics and process improvements across sites.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, an EPA Universal license, a valid driver’s license, and at least five years of technical experience in building engineering, particularly with packaged HVAC, refrigeration, and strong people‑management abilities. • Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Possess an EPA Universal refrigerant license and a valid state driver’s license. • Have 5+ years of experience in building engineering with packaged HVAC and refrigeration expertise. • Demonstrate strong people‑management and supervisory skills. • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, customer‑service, analytical, and organizational abilities. • Ability to multi‑task, lead teams, and drive continuous improvement.

Benefits
The role offers a salary between $100,000 and $130,000, a Monday‑Friday day shift with 24/7 on‑call support, remote work within the Kalamazoo area, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid parental leave, PTO, company holidays and early access to wages through Daily Pay.
