About the Role
The engineer will enable global projects by adapting HVDC cyber‑security for SCADA and HMI, designing secure network architectures, and creating functional specifications for future HVDC solutions. Responsibilities include preparing test cases, supporting field service testing, coordinating stakeholder inputs, evaluating and strengthening SCADA connections, monitoring third‑party security patches, and implementing intrusion detection systems. The role also involves performing technical audits, conducting physical security surveys of remote sites, maintaining a test environment, handling backups and patch management, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. • Support global projects by adapting HVDC cyber‑security for SCADA and HMI • Design and develop secure SCADA network architecture with advanced cyber‑security features • Create architecture and functional descriptions for future HVDC cyber‑security solutions • Prepare and execute test case scenarios and assist in field service testing • Coordinate stakeholder inputs across business units to optimize cyber‑security solutions • Evaluate and strengthen security of SCADA network connections • Monitor and validate third‑party security patches to maintain system reliability • Implement internal and external intrusion detection systems for the SCADA network • Conduct technical audits of SCADA devices, networks, and connected infrastructures • Perform physical security surveys of remote sites linked to the SCADA network • Maintain a test environment with up‑to‑date software and hardware • Manage backup, image handling, and patch management for servers and workstations • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or ECE with foundational knowledge of networking, security, and anti‑virus technologies, as well as basic familiarity with IEEE/IEC standards and C/C++. Experience in SCADA projects, proficiency with MS Office, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication are required.
