Electrical Engineer IV - Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer IV or Senior Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design of major commercial, healthcare, and mission‑critical projects, collaborating with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to develop electrical system layouts, calculations, and coordination. • Interact with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members. • Design trade‑specific electrical systems using CAD/BIM, perform calculations, and coordinate with other trades. • Create basic designs and establish system application, design, and operational parameters under senior guidance. • Participate in QA/QC processes for own and assigned work. • Assist senior staff with project scheduling, staffing, and budgeting. • Conduct construction administration, field investigations, inspections, and detailed reports. • Support processing of RFIs, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda. • Utilize Revit for system layouts, spatial coordination, and detailed drawings. • Read, review, and evaluate floor plans, sections, elevations, and visualize 3D building spaces. • Work half‑day from home each Friday year‑round.

What You Bring
The role requires expertise in Revit and the latest AutoCAD MEP, strong communication and organizational abilities, and a minimum of seven years’ consulting experience in electrical power system design, as well as an EIT credential (PE for senior designation) and knowledge of building codes and LEED principles. • Apply REVIT and the latest AutoCAD MEP tools (required). • Bring 7+ years consulting experience designing electrical power systems. • Understand proper system selection, building codes, and LEED principles. • Hold EIT credential; PE required for senior engineer designation.
