About the Role

• Assist the SVP of Taxation with transactions for BPG, BPY, BSREP II‑V, BRES I‑II, and other funds • Prepare internal memoranda and documentation for proposed and executed transactions • Maintain transaction records in line with BPG risk‑management policies • Coordinate with BPG tax team members to ensure compliance reporting for executed deals • Liaise with and manage external law and accounting firms providing advice on BPG transactions • Stay up‑to‑date on tax law changes and emerging structures that affect BPG transactions

What You Bring

• Tax lawyer with 6‑9 years of experience in a law firm or comparable in‑house role • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax rules including M&A, partnership tax, REITs, inbound investor considerations, and real‑estate structuring • Solid understanding of international and cross‑border tax issues such as U.S. outbound considerations, Pillar Two GloBE rules, and treaty analysis • Proven ability to manage large, complex transactions and assignments • Excellent multi‑tasking ability in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment • Strong project‑management skills with a pragmatic, efficient approach • Exceptional written and verbal communication, capable of explaining complex tax concepts to non‑tax audiences • Self‑motivated and proactive in workload management and professional development
