SAP RTR DevOps Lead

About the Role

The SAP RTR DevOps Lead will drive automation and continuous improvement across the Record to Report landscape. This role involves designing and implementing end-to-end SAP processes, managing high-availability RTR environments, and applying best-practice tooling and DevOps methods to accelerate delivery. The leader will partner with application development teams for smooth production roll-outs, monitor and resolve production issues, and mentor junior staff in SAP and DevOps practices. Deep functional expertise is required across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Project Systems, as well as basic interface handling. • Lead SAP RTR DevOps initiatives to automate and improve processes. • Design and implement end-to-end SAP workflows with cross-functional teams. • Manage and optimize SAP RTR environments for high availability and performance. • Apply best-practice SAP tooling and DevOps methods to speed delivery and quality. • Coordinate with application development for seamless production transitions. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly. • Mentor junior staff in SAP and DevOps practices. • Provide expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Project System functions. • Handle inbound/outbound IDOCs and month-end finance transactions. • Utilize automation tools and CI/CD pipelines within SAP landscapes.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, finance or a related discipline (CA, ICMA, BCom, MCom, MBA Finance acceptable) and bring 5-12 years of SAP RTR and DevOps experience. Proven knowledge of SAP modules, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines in an SAP environment is essential, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP S/4HANA, cloud-based SAP solutions, and relevant certifications in SAP or DevOps. • Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree (CS, IT, finance) and 5-12 years SAP RTR/DevOps experience. • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Preferred: experience with SAP S/4HANA, cloud SAP solutions, and SAP/DevOps certifications.
