About the Role
• Erect and dismantle lattice boom cranes. • Interpret hand signals to direct cranes during pile driving. • Read prints and take measurements to assist in layout. • Plumb piles using levels. • Assist other craft workers as needed. • Operate hand and power tools (electric, gas, pneumatic). • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Work in uneven, muddy, rocky, or soft‑sand conditions and may be required to enter confined spaces. • Perform math calculations and follow safety policies.

What You Bring
The Piledriver role requires knowledge of heavy rigging, preferably with NCCER certification, and the ability to learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. The incumbent must safely operate tools and equipment and be prepared to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting. The position demands physical capabilities such as pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lb (occasionally 100 lb), repetitive hand and arm use, balance on steel or wood frameworks, ladders and scaffolds, and the ability to work in uneven, muddy, rocky, or soft‑sand conditions, including exposure to adverse weather and confined spaces. Mentally, the employee must communicate effectively with management, read and write directions, perform calculations, work at varying tempos, stay focused amid distractions, make decisions, and be detail‑oriented. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and comprehend written directions.
