Leasing Consultant

About the Role

The Leasing Consultant is accountable for all leasing, marketing, and resident‑relation activities, including showing units, processing applications, and maintaining positive community interactions. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; qualify and tour the community. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up. • Complete leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walkthroughs, and turnover. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints, concerns, and requests. • Develop and support resident‑retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with annual marketing plan execution and conduct ongoing market surveys. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service‑request response times, and uphold community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Work overtime, weekends, nights, and in varied environmental conditions.

What You Bring

Applicants must have at least a high‑school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. Physical demands include frequent walking, climbing ladders or stairs, lifting up to 25 lb, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, night shifts, and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA. • Ability to perform on‑site software functions and lift/move objects up to 25 lb.
