About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and by installing automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role also offers the chance to mentor junior technicians. • Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. • Perform preventative maintenance tasks and document them accurately. • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment (belts, motors, sensors, relays, etc.). • Maintain positive relationships with operations staff and manage department inventory.

The position requires physical stamina for activities such as standing, walking, and lifting throughout the workday. • Lift up to 49 lb, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and travel up to 20% as needed. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Have 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting predictive maintenance. • Preferably possess an associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical technology. • Experience with automated conveyor systems, controls, and reading blueprints/electrical schematics. • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and ability to troubleshoot basic I/O functions. • Proficiency with OEM safety standards, CMMS, and robotic/electromechanical maintenance. • Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, reach, twist, and stand for long periods; lift items averaging 20 lb, up to 49 lb. • Comfort working in cramped, dusty, noisy, or temperature‑extreme environments and handling equipment up to 100 lb.
