About the Role
The SFA will actively participate in the consolidation and financial reporting of BAM and will support compliance, investor relations and special projects as they arise. • Work closely with global business units to prepare consolidated financial statements and public documents on a quarterly and annual basis • Actively participate in the resolution of complex accounting issues and the execution of regulatory updates, including coordination with auditors and operating business groups • Assist in the production and review of financial reporting deliverables provided to the Board and senior management • Support internal and external audit teams in relation to quarterly reviews, the annual audit and SOX compliance • Collaborate regularly with operating business groups and various BAM departments • Continuously look for efficiency in processes, tools and reports and suggest implementations into the framework • Assist as needed with ad‑hoc analyses, presentations on financial and operating results, and special projects

What You Bring
Candidates should have two to three years of progressive experience in accounting or auditing, a recognized CPA designation, and strong financial systems expertise including advanced Excel skills. • Two to three years of progressive work experience in an accounting or auditing function • A recognized professional accounting designation (CPA) • Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills • Leadership and interpersonal skills with a willingness to support the team • Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex, fast‑paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Senior Analyst, Finance (SFA) will join BAM’s Global Financial Reporting team and report to the Vice President, Finance. Based in the downtown Toronto head office, the SFA role is highly visible and offers a solid foundation and exposure to a progressive, dynamic career with a leading global asset management firm. Compensation includes a base salary and a short‑term cash bonus, with cash compensation varying by geography and based on experience, education and professional designations. This is a new position.
