About the Role

Lead and oversee all field operations across the assigned commercial electrical scope, ensuring coordination of installation strategies, validation of layout plans, and strict compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. Serve as the primary on‑site liaison between project management, clients, and field personnel, directing schedules, manpower, productivity, and comprehensive documentation. Drive project success through oversight of budgets, labor utilization, and overall performance outcomes. Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to anticipate challenges, optimize resources, and ensure consistent delivery of complex electrical projects. • Interpret contracts, scopes, submittals and specifications for staff and clients • Plan, organize and direct daily project activities • Develop and integrate schedules with other trades and end users • Meet or exceed productivity standards per KEI’s Productive Jobsite Program • Manage site logistics and material procurement • Oversee company-owned and rented tools and equipment • Collaborate with project managers to create work execution, budget and safety plans • Supervise, direct and mentor field staff • Create and execute task-specific MOPs for shutdowns • Monitor installations and report labor hours for budget tracking • Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports • Ensure compliance with national and local codes and regulations • Perform jobsite safety inspections and prepare inspection reports • Lead or assist investigations and root cause analyses • Manage onsite project aspects including scheduling, change orders, document control, material and equipment tracking, and client relations • Lead crews of 15+ while meeting or beating projected job costs

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a journeyman or higher electrical license in Texas, possess 10+ years of industry experience, and have recent experience as an electrical superintendent or foreman. Additional requirements include a high school diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, advanced knowledge of NEC and local codes, OSHA 30 certification, and the ability to pass background and motor vehicle checks. • Hold a journeyman (or higher) electrical license in Texas (or other state) • Possess 10+ years of electrical industry experience • Have 2+ years recent experience as an electrical superintendent or 5 years as a foreman • Hold a high school diploma or GED • Maintain a valid driver’s license with good record and required auto insurance • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of electrical theory, NEC and local codes • Exhibit strong math and problem-solving abilities • Hold OSHA 30 certification and mitigate site safety risks • Communicate effectively in verbal and written form • Pass background and motor vehicle checks

Benefits

The role is based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, serving local projects. Total compensation ranges from $130,000 to $170,000, dependent on licenses, experience, and includes base salary, vehicle allowance, structured bonus program, PTO, fuel card, and full medical, dental, and other benefits.
