Job Highlights
About the Role
The Facility Manager III serves as the owner of the building(s), ensuring safe, cost‑effective, and efficient operations in line with the Statement of Work and client contracts, while acting as the primary BGIS liaison for clients and tenants. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and building code regulations and lead a culture of safety. • Supervise a team of more than ten staff, including maintenance technicians and service coordinators, and provide coaching and career development. • Oversee technical operations for facilities ranging from 500,000 to 1,000,000 sq ft, managing HVAC, life‑safety, and other critical systems. • Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and collaborate with Asset Management on capital planning. • Manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with central work‑order teams to meet timelines and budget targets. • Conduct regular site inspections, maintain a visible presence, and proactively resolve identified issues. • Enhance occupant experience by communicating with clients and tenants and implementing satisfaction initiatives. • Assume financial ownership: develop, track, and analyze budgets, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and meet performance indicators. • Lead vendor management, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. • Leverage technology such as CMMS, BAS, and vendor monitoring tools to improve service delivery and mentor staff in its use.

What You Bring
Candidates need five to ten years of property or facility management experience, strong people‑management and business development skills, solid technical knowledge of building systems, and relevant certifications such as IFMA Certified Facility Manager or IREM Certified Property Manager.
