About the Role

The Sorter ensures proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line, keeps the work area clean, follows safety and operating procedures, and reports any hazards or equipment issues. • Inspect and sort materials by type, size, condition, or grade • Remove contaminants from paper and floor • Stack and dump boxes, skids, and totes • Feed wastepaper onto conveyor • Monitor machine startup and maintain proper speed • Follow SOPs for equipment operation and maintenance • Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions • Attend weekly/monthly safety and operations meetings • Perform climbing, balancing, repetitive motions, and coordination tasks in indoor and outdoor conditions

What You Bring

Physical demands include climbing, balancing, sitting, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination while working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
