About the Role

The role supports skilled craft workers by performing assigned duties and stepping into other crafts as training allows, under the direction of foremen. The employee must follow instructions, prioritize safety, and contribute to efficient, high-quality work on construction projects. • Eliminate waste (waiting, rework, transport, storage, time). • Seek supervisor guidance when unsure about safety or work issues. • Learn and follow safety hazards related to the job. • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively. • Identify improvement opportunities and learn from others. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Deliver high‑quality work safely and productively. • Ensure materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend. • Move in confined, cluttered, uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Climb and balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, scaffolds. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.

What You Bring

• Apply basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). • Hold NCCER Core Curriculum certification or high school diploma (preferred). • Have 1‑3+ years experience in industrial/commercial construction (level I‑III). • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required PPE (steel‑toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.). • Reach above shoulder and below waist frequently. • Use phone, computer, email limitedly for communication.
