About the Role
The position is part of an integrated group that includes Airworthiness and System Safety specialists and supports the wider Office of Airworthiness, which operates under UK MAA DAOS, UK CAA Part 21G and 145, and EASA Part 145 approvals. Key duties include ensuring designs, modifications, and repairs meet applicable regulations, preparing and reviewing certification documentation, conducting detailed inspections and audits, providing technical support to engineering and operations, maintaining accurate records, liaising with aviation regulatory authorities, and driving continuous improvement of airworthiness processes. • Ensure designs, modifications, and repairs comply with airworthiness regulations. • Prepare and review certification documentation for systems and components. • Conduct detailed inspections and audits to verify safety and regulatory compliance. • Provide technical support and guidance to engineering and operations teams on airworthiness issues. • Maintain accurate records of all airworthiness activities and certifications. • Liaise with aviation regulatory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance. • Identify and implement improvements to airworthiness processes and procedures.

What You Bring
We are seeking skilled and motivated Airworthiness Engineers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of the air-to-air refuelling and actuation systems we develop. This role involves close collaboration with design, operations, and functional teams, and reports to the Airworthiness Manager. Depending on experience, the engineer may also help develop other Airworthiness Engineers within the team. Candidates should hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline and ideally have at least two years of experience as an Airworthiness Engineer or in a similar role. Required knowledge includes EASA, FAA, and UK MAA regulations, and essential skills comprise communication, negotiation, and resilience. • Hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field. • Possess at least two years of experience as an Airworthiness Engineer. • Demonstrate knowledge of EASA, FAA, and UK MAA regulations. • Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and resilience skills.
