About the Role

The role focuses on preparing and revising technical drawings and as‑built documentation using MicroStation and AutoCAD, interpreting engineer inputs, and ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications and authority requirements such as RTA, DM, and DEWA. Coordination with engineers, inspectors, and document control teams is essential for timely submission and approval of drawing deliverables. • Prepare and revise technical drawings and as‑built documentation using MicroStation and AutoCAD. • Interpret design inputs from engineers and translate them into detailed construction drawings. • Review and update drawings to meet project specifications and authority standards (RTA, DM, DEWA). • Track and verify existing sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation networks in Dubai. • Conduct site surveys and coordinate with inspectors to capture accurate as‑built data. • Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and document control for timely drawing approvals. • Create redline markups, section details, pipeline profiles, and micro‑tunneling shaft layouts. • Maintain organized digital archives and record systems for all project drawings. • Review contractors’ as‑built and shop drawing submissions for compliance with site conditions. • Provide technical drafting support during construction to reflect approved changes. • Prepare utility coordination drawings to ensure accuracy and avoid service conflicts. • Ensure all drawing deliverables adhere to AECOM and authority CAD standards, including layering and scaling.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Civil & Survey Engineering, Geomatics Engineering or a related field, with at least six years of relevant experience and a minimum of ten years in BIM and GIS engineering roles. Strong technical expertise in both BIM and GIS software platforms is required. Proficiency in BIM tools—including Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk MAP, Bentley MicroStation, and InfraWorks—and a solid command of GIS applications such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, as well as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, are essential for creating and managing building models and utility coordination drawings. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Civil & Survey Engineering, Geomatics or related field. • Demonstrate 6+ years of related experience and at least 10 years in BIM and GIS engineering roles. • Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk MAP, Bentley MicroStation, InfraWorks, Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
