About the Role
• Install and connect control systems, power distribution equipment, switchgear, panels, and transformers. • Use multi-meters and testing instruments to measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and troubleshoot circuits. • Diagnose, repair, and resolve problems with electrical systems using schematics and diagrams. • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and company procedures. • Generate complete materials lists for assigned scopes of work. • Perform layout tasks for overhead and in‑wall rough‑ins and test circuit continuity for safety. • Maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and assist other employees as needed. • Inspect completed jobs for quality, safety, and cleanliness. • Maintain good working relationships and contribute to a safe work environment.

What You Bring
The Journeyman Electrician role in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex involves electrical installation and service tasks to required specifications, including conduit bending, wire pulling, fixture installation, and branch circuit work. The electrician must read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings while mentoring and supervising apprentices. Projects are based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and candidates may reside anywhere in the United States, with a preference for the Midwest and Southeast. Travel by car and plane, including overnight stays, is required. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of electrical trade experience, a current state Journeyman license, and a valid driver’s license. They must also possess advanced knowledge of electrical theory, the NEC, local codes, and hold multiple safety certifications. • High school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of electrical trade experience. • Current state Electrical Journeyman license and valid state‑issued driver’s license. • Advanced knowledge of NEC, local codes, and electrical theory; ability to read blueprints and perform calculations. • Current certifications: OSHA 10, Elevated Work Platform, Lock Out/Tag Out, First Aid/CPR, and NFPA 70E Arc Flash.
