About the Role
The role involves responding to a variety of repair requests, such as replacing internal doors, repairing skirting boards and architraves, fitting kitchen units, and completing general finishing works. No two days are the same, so efficiency, on‑site problem solving and excellent customer service are essential to keep residents’ homes safe, functional and well maintained. • Carry out carpentry repairs in occupied properties as part of responsive maintenance • Replace and repair internal doors, frames, handles, locks and hinges • Fit and adjust kitchen units, worktops, cupboard doors and pelmets • Install or replace skirting boards, architraves and decorative joinery • Repair or replace timber flooring, stair components and handrails • Perform basic patch plastering or tiling to make good repairs • Ensure all work meets high standards and complies with health‑and‑safety regulations • Record job details, materials used and completion notes via handheld devices or job sheets • Work professionally and respectfully in residents’ homes, maintaining a clean and safe environment • Identify and report additional works, safeguarding concerns or property issues beyond the job scope • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures at all times • Provide high levels of customer care throughout each assignment

The position offers a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, a company van and fuel card, and a 42.5‑hour work week (Monday to Friday 8‑5).
