About the Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections throughout the community to ensure all common areas, amenities, and facilities are well‑maintained, safe, and in excellent working condition. This role supports the Property Manager and HOA Board by helping preserve community assets, responding to resident service requests, and maintaining a clean and attractive environment. • Perform daily maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC assistance, and general repairs. • Inspect and maintain common areas including clubhouses, pools, fitness centers, parks, playgrounds, restrooms, and parking areas. • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems. • Provide landscaping support like debris removal, irrigation checks, minor trimming, and reporting issues to vendors. • Keep community facilities clean by sweeping, power‑washing, trash removal, and ensuring amenities are presentable and functional. • Monitor and maintain lighting, signage, gates, fencing, and infrastructure, replacing bulbs and making adjustments as needed. • Respond promptly and courteously to resident maintenance requests. • Document completed tasks, materials used, and any required follow‑up work. • Coordinate with management on resident concerns and vendor needs. • Oversee specialized service providers such as landscaping, pool service, elevator maintenance, pest control, and janitorial services. • Report performance issues and verify completion of contracted services. • Ensure all work complies with HOA policies, safety standards, and industry best practices. • Identify and report safety hazards, structural issues, or urgent repairs to management immediately. • Maintain proper use, storage, and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

Benefits

The position is full‑time with a pay rate of $23. Applicants must reside within 30 minutes of the Southeast Palm Beach area and meet the listed qualifications.
