About the Role

In this role you will develop industry‑leading HVAC control designs, coordinate delivery of control hardware and software, apply engineering expertise to improve building system designs, work with multidisciplinary teams to achieve smart building outcomes, and lead systems integration across building services. • Develop and engineer industry‑leading HVAC control designs. • Coordinate delivery of HVAC controls, including motor control panels, software configuration, graphics, installation and commissioning. • Apply controls engineering expertise to enhance mechanical and electrical building system designs. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to achieve BMS and smart building outcomes. • Lead systems integration design across building services systems. • Produce detailed performance specifications and technical documentation. • Design control systems for cloud analytics, device/point naming, cyber‑security and network connectivity. • Ensure compliance with smart building standards such as BDNS, WELL, LEED, BREEAM SmartScore.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have extensive BMS controls engineering experience, be familiar with leading BMS software and equipment, and demonstrate the ability to design, specify and document complex control systems while possessing strong coordination, analytical and project‑management skills. • Strategic BMS controls engineering experience and familiarity with BMS software best practices. • Hands‑on control and automation experience in critical, secure environments. • Knowledge of major manufacturers (Tridium Niagara, Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, Trend, Delta Controls). • Ability to design, specify, and document implementation roadmaps. • Experience coordinating subcontractors and internal resources for full BMS solutions. • Awareness of HVAC technology trends and energy‑reduction strategies. • Completed BCIA modules: Fundamentals of HVAC & Building Technology, Measuring & Control Technology, Hydraulics in Building Services. • CIBSE/Engineering Council accreditation or pathway to chartership. • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and project‑management skills. • Excellent report and specification writing abilities.
