About the Role
The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes, adhering to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations. The role includes completing all scheduled duties, assisting other drivers when needed, and ensuring the vehicle remains clean and safe. • Operate the assigned heavy‑duty truck safely following OSHA, DOT, and company fleet standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and note any issues for corrective action. • Report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Participate in all required training sessions, briefings, and meetings as directed by the Operations Manager. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe or problematic accounts. • Assist other company drivers as needed and complete duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump containers, clean the customer site, and ensure containers are positioned upright with lids replaced, avoiding blockage of driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal and finalize all documentation at the end of each route. • Communicate customer requests or issues promptly to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Maintain an acceptable driving record and comply with all licensing, drug screening, physical, and background check requirements.

What You Bring
No formal education or prior experience is required, but candidates must hold a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. An acceptable driving record is essential, and applicants must pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
