About the Role

Plan, lay‑out and perform all types of pipe fitting and fabrication work in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills when requested by project supervision. Must be able to take direction from a higher‑skilled worker or foreman. The role requires wearing personal protective equipment and performing physically demanding tasks such as frequent reaching above shoulder height, stooping, climbing, and lifting or moving objects up to 50 lb. Employees must comply with all safety standards and be prepared for up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time. • Apply high proficiency in trade mathematics. • Inspect subordinates' work, ensure accuracy/compliance, explain deficiencies, and take corrective action. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. • Read and understand drawings, specifications, safety/quality standards; utilize trade tools and equipment. • Use telephone, computer, email, or electronic devices on a limited basis for communication. • Move in confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects frequently. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb occasionally.

What You Bring

• Use effective verbal and written communication. • Possess required experience: 3 years (Level I), 4 years (Level II), 5 years (Level III), 6+ years (Senior) in industrial/commercial construction with deep pipefitter knowledge. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.). • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently. • Stooping, kneeling, or bending occasionally. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
