About the Role

• Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, ductwork, piping layouts, and equipment selection. • Perform thermal load calculations using HAP or IES VE. • Prepare BIM design markups. • Create equipment schedules and schematic drawings. • Produce detailed HVAC drawings in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. • Coordinate with architects, structural, and electrical engineers. • Conduct clash detection using Navisworks. • Ensure compliance with UK (CIBSE, BSRIA) and Middle East (ASHRAE) standards. • Participate in design reviews and value‑engineering sessions.

What You Bring

We are seeking a skilled, detail‑oriented HVAC Design Engineer with at least four years of experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects in the UK or Europe. The ideal candidate understands regional codes, standards, and is proficient with industry‑standard software tools. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 4+ years of HVAC design experience, preferably on UK projects. • Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and systems. • Proficiency with HAP, IES VE, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and related simulation tools. • Familiarity with UK and Middle East building codes and HVAC standards. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Professional certifications such as LEED, CIBSE membership, or ASHRAE. • Experience with sustainable, energy‑efficient HVAC design. • Exposure to BIM workflows and coordination. • Agile and safe working environment.
