About the Role
The Transport Manager role in Gurgaon oversees end‑to‑end employee transport operations, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective movement of staff while maintaining high service standards and policy compliance. • Plan and manage daily employee pick‑up/drop schedules, optimizing routes for cost and travel time. • Coordinate with transport vendors and drivers, monitor fleet condition, insurance, permits, and negotiate contracts. • Ensure compliance with transport laws and company safety policies, implement GPS tracking, panic buttons, and conduct safety audits. • Address employee transport complaints, communicate schedule changes, and collaborate with HR and Admin for allocations. • Monitor transport budget, track usage and invoices, and implement cost‑saving initiatives. • Maintain route maps, logs, attendance records, and generate performance reports with KPIs such as on‑time performance and vehicle utilization. • Supervise transport coordinators and drivers, provide training, manage shift schedules, and evaluate performance.

What You Bring
• Strong knowledge of employee transport operations, route planning, and cab management. • Experience with transport management software, GPS tracking and route optimization tools. • Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities, especially in emergencies. • Skilled in vendor negotiation and contract management. • Understanding of employee safety and compliance guidelines. • Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, operations or equivalent (preferred). • 7–10 years experience in employee transportation management or similar, preferably large‑scale corporate. • Ability to work on‑site in Gurugram, 48‑hour weekly schedule, with shift/on‑call requirements.
