Job Highlights
About the Role
The successful hire will lead the definition and implementation of ISO 19650 information management frameworks, interface directly with senior client stakeholders, and establish quality and governance processes for digital information delivery. They will also represent AECOM at industry forums, acting as a thought leader in digital infrastructure delivery. • Define and implement ISO 19650 information management frameworks for major infrastructure programmes. • Develop and maintain ISO 19650 documentation (EIR, BEP, MIDP, TIDP) and manage Common Data Environment (CDE) systems. • Lead BIM Execution Planning, coordinate with GIS/BIM specialists, and ensure Master Information Delivery Plans align with framework requirements. • Assess and assure information delivery quality, overseeing compliance with acceptance criteria and team capability. • Implement BIM and digital delivery processes, including 3D/4D/5D integration, data management, and modern methods of construction tools. • Evaluate, deploy, and support immersive visualization technologies such as VR/AR, 3D reality capture, and digital twin solutions. • Customize and integrate software tools, including CAD‑GIS integration, to streamline digital design workflows. • Establish training programmes, develop proposal components for digital delivery, and drive innovation and R&D initiatives.

What You Bring
The Energy team at AECOM is seeking experienced candidates to support advanced information management across Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, and Nuclear decommissioning projects, as well as a growing digital portfolio. Roles may be within the central Digital Energy Team or one of the three practice areas, combining senior project information management responsibilities with BIM project leadership on large programmes such as the National Grid Great Grid Upgrade. Applicants must meet UK security clearance requirements and are encouraged to apply regardless of background or ability.
