About the Role
The Site Engineer joins the project management team to oversee construction projects on‑site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with plans and specifications. Responsibilities include project planning, resource management, quality control, and stakeholder communication. Key duties involve reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting site surveys, and preparing detailed reports and as‑built documentation. The engineer supervises subcontractors, monitors schedules and budgets, coordinates material deliveries, and performs quality inspections with QA/QC checklists and progress photography. They troubleshoot technical issues, liaise between construction and engineering teams, and keep clients, architects, and management informed through reports and presentations. Additionally, they enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the job site. • Review project drawings, specifications, and conduct site surveys to identify requirements and hazards. • Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, documentation, and as‑built drawings. • Supervise subcontractors and workers, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations. • Monitor project schedules and budgets, coordinating material and equipment deliveries. • Perform quality inspections, complete QA/QC checklists, and capture construction progress photography. • Resolve technical issues, design changes, and field concerns by liaising between construction and engineering teams. • Communicate project status, issues, and solutions to clients, architects, engineers, and management through reports and presentations. • Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on‑site. • Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines. • Meet physical demands of standing, walking, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in varied weather conditions.

What You Bring
Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple fast‑paced projects. Physical demands include standing, walking, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in all weather conditions. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6‑12 months of construction experience are required. All applicants must pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screen.
