About the Role

The role supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the transmission gas system, collaborating with field operations, construction, project teams, and external stakeholders to plan and execute pipeline upgrades, removals, abandonments, and new installations. • Manage multiple natural gas pipeline projects from concept through close‑out. • Lead technical design, including conceptual and detailed engineering for pipelines. • Plan, budget, schedule, and report on design, construction, and commissioning phases. • Coordinate internal teams and external partners as a technical resource. • Ensure compliance with codes, company processes, specifications, and design optimization. • Develop and maintain technical specifications and engineering standards.

What You Bring

Engineers at ATCO are valued for taking on diverse, complex projects and are supported with ample development and learning opportunities across multiple business lines and geographies. • Bachelor of Science in Engineering. • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer in Training (EIT) with APEGA and at least two years of relevant experience. • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence. • Experience in pipeline systems, project management, construction, or operations. • Strong collaboration, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication with a positive, proactive attitude. • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and uphold high integrity.
