About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards before each trip, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties involve performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of tires, fluids, safety equipment, and controls, then loading and compacting refuse according to company procedures. The driver follows the route sheet, interacts professionally with customers and dispatchers, tags unsatisfactory containers, monitors waste for compliance, cleans spills, and maintains vehicle readiness by removing waste buildup after each disposal run. Additionally, the driver completes productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports while meeting departmental productivity standards and participating in the ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with an air‑brake endorsement. Strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities are essential, along with a commitment to company policies, safety standards, and a pride in delivering quality work.
