About the Role

In this position you will oversee operations across a designated territory, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to high‑quality standards. You will manage cross‑functional teams, handle forecasting, budgeting and cost analysis, and report financial and performance results to senior leadership. • Lead cross‑functional teams including construction supervisors, project managers, and administrative staff. • Ensure underground fiber projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. • Drive revenue by efficiently managing resources and prioritizing customer needs. • Manage customer relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. • Oversee and continuously improve operational processes, safety compliance, and reporting. • Perform forecasting, budgeting, cost analysis, and prepare regular financial performance reports. • Foster team development through performance evaluations, training, and career path planning. • Represent the company in interactions with vendors, subcontractors, and customers. • Promote a strong safety culture and lead metrics‑driven safety programs.

What You Bring

As a Wireline Telecom General Manager, you will develop new skills while working in a safety‑focused environment and help expand technology for the community. The role requires experience leading teams in underground fiber‑to‑the‑home construction, mandatory wireline expertise, and a track record of driving revenue and managing customer‑facing relationships. The ideal candidate has at least five years of leadership experience in telecom or underground construction, strong knowledge of fiber‑to‑the‑home and wireline infrastructure, and proven profit‑and‑loss responsibility. You should be highly organized, solutions‑oriented, possess strong communication and negotiation skills, and be committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement. • Minimum five years’ leadership experience in telecom or underground construction. • Strong knowledge of fiber‑to‑the‑home and wireline infrastructure. • Proven profit‑and‑loss responsibility and financial performance management. • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and meet service‑level expectations. • Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance metrics such as SSO, TRIR, and DART. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn internal systems. • Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting. • Highly organized, hands‑on leader with strong communication and negotiation skills. • Adaptable leader capable of guiding teams through change and growth.
