About the Role

Key responsibilities include managing payroll tax calculations, payments and filings, overseeing quarterly and annual returns, and leading year‑end W‑2/W‑2C processing. You will review and improve tax processes for efficiency, serve as the primary contact for employees, agencies and regulators, and prepare reconciliations to resolve discrepancies. Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of tax laws and collaborating with HR and Finance are also essential. • Handle all payroll tax calculations, payments and ensure filings meet deadlines. • Supervise quarterly and annual payroll tax return submissions and year‑end W‑2/W‑2C activities. • Analyze and improve tax processes to boost efficiency and scalability. • Act as the main point of contact for employee, agency and regulator tax questions. • Generate reconciliations of payroll tax accounts and correct any variances. • Verify adherence to external tax regulations and internal company policies. • Partner with HR, Finance and other departments to guarantee accurate payroll reporting.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field and proven experience in payroll tax management and compliance. A strong understanding of federal, state and local payroll tax regulations, proficiency with payroll systems, and the ability to perform detailed audits and reconciliations are required. Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline and documented payroll tax expertise. • Demonstrate deep knowledge of federal, state and local payroll tax statutes and proficiency with payroll software.
