About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties and facilities. This role operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, while also performing physical tasks that require moving about the workplace, standing, and extending hands and arms in various directions. • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing building systems, including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, grounds equipment, and HVAC. • Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices. • Install and modify building equipment and systems. • Replace and repair finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment. • Evaluate maintenance operations and recommend upgrades or cost‑saving opportunities. • Use and care for tools and equipment required for facility and grounds maintenance. • Respond immediately to emergencies and customer service requests. • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance. • Maintain and operate fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection equipment. • Perform carpentry tasks and snow removal as needed. • Follow applicable codes, regulations, agency directives, and safe work practices. • Utilize technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web‑based applications, and building automation systems. • Complete all required C&W safety training annually. • Adhere to C&W uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance on the property.

What You Bring
• Technical proficiency. • Multi‑tasking. • Sense of urgency. • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Minimum 2 + years of related experience in a commercial property setting. • Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, power transmission, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair. • Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) with a good driving record. • Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $25.50 to $30.00 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package that may cover health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, as well as paid and unpaid time off.
