About the Role

The role involves testing soils, foundations, reinforced and post‑tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, and asphalt pavement. The incumbent will determine and perform appropriate laboratory tests, attend project meetings, and assist in resolving project issues. Additional duties include scheduling, training, and supervising field technicians. • Perform laboratory testing on soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, steel, and asphalt. • Conduct appropriate laboratory analyses and interpret results. • Participate in project meetings and contribute to issue resolution. • Schedule, train, and oversee field technicians. • Provide reliable transportation for job sites (mileage reimbursed).

What You Bring

Candidates must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, and demonstrate an interest in the use of building materials. Prior internship experience is required. The position entails frequent lifting of 40–70 lb, occasional lifts of up to 85 lb, and reliable transportation for site travel, which will be reimbursed. • Pursue a B.S. or M.S. in civil engineering, construction management, or related discipline. • Have prior internship experience. • Handle frequent lifting of 40–70 lb and occasional 85 lb lifts.
