About the Role
This on‑site role is based in the Turner Denver office or a project location and will be posted for five days. The Senior Project Manager will manage daily activities of the Special Projects Division (SPD) staff and stakeholders across multiple projects of varying size and complexity, and will also play an active role in business development for SPD growth. • Develop and maintain strategic project management plans for SPD projects, outlining objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones. • Lead stakeholder and staff meetings to confirm and execute project plans and schedules. • Coordinate with BU EH&S to create project‑specific safety plans and enforce safety protocols. • Manage project budgets, track earnings, mitigate risks, and report progress to management. • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment and promote diversity. • Pursue business development opportunities with existing and potential clients to grow SPD. • Review contract risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. • Prepare RFP responses, support estimating, and participate in pre‑construction activities. • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures for project management, procurement, and quality control. • Oversee subcontractor change orders, negotiate terms, and communicate impacts. • Utilize Last Planner System to identify process improvements and optimize project delivery. • Maintain master project schedule, document events, and communicate schedule impacts to stakeholders. • Ensure accuracy of deliverables, closeout documentation, pay applications, and accounts receivable.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent blend of education and training. Required knowledge includes construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles, contract and document interpretation, and project‑specific engineering procedures. Strong business acumen, supervisory, negotiation, and communication skills are essential. The role involves physical activities such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, as well as regular use of computers and frequent travel to construction sites. Work environments include quiet office settings and noisy, potentially hazardous construction sites, with compliance to safety policies and applicable laws required. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with at least 4 years’ experience. • Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles. • Ability to interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. • Experience managing project budgets and developing client relationships. • Strong negotiation, supervisory, and interpersonal skills. • Effective presentation and communication abilities.
