Fleet Diesel Mechanic
Repair and maintain WM's diesel and CNG fleet trucks in Moreno Valley.

About the Role
Every day you will service trucks and equipment that support millions of customers nationwide, using contemporary tools and procedures to keep diesel and CNG fleets operating reliably. • Work in repair/maintenance shop at Moreno Valley, CA hauling site. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a variety of vehicles. • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and parts. • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs). • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls. • Conduct safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and the community. • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair time. • Assist senior mechanics on project work. • Review and address repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate standards.

What You Bring
• 2 years of fleet, engine diagnostic, and CNG experience required. • Valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States. • Ability to meet physical demands such as frequent lifting, standing, and exposure to industrial environments. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination. • Team‑oriented mindset, independent work capability, enjoys variety, and solves problems deterministically. • Must possess or obtain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel or federal site access.
