About the Role

In this role, the Designer will assist in preparing and supporting design plans of varying complexity, from CAD and Revit drawing set‑up to arc‑flash coordination studies, as well as preparing specifications for final engineer review and finalizing CAD sheets, XRefs, and title blocks for deliverables. Essential duties include preparing engineering drawings using AutoCAD (with MicroStation knowledge a plus), reviewing sketches and specifications to ensure they meet design concepts, assisting engineers with technical studies, and contributing to timely CAD production, QA/QC, and updates. The Designer will also work closely with other disciplines, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of drafting hardware and software, perform fieldwork and documentation, and manage client or sub‑consultant CAD coordination issues. • Prepare and support design plans, including CAD/Revit set‑up and arc‑flash coordination studies. • Draft specifications for engineer review and finalize CAD sheets, XRefs, and title blocks. • Produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD (MicroStation knowledge a plus). • Review sketches, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with design concepts. • Assist engineers with technical studies and daily CAD production, QA/QC tasks. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage client/sub‑consultant CAD issues. • Perform fieldwork, documentation, research, and drafting as directed.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma with specific CAD training and experience using AutoCAD; familiarity with MicroStation, plotter configurations, page setups, and strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.
