About the Role
• Operate spray and coating equipment to apply protective or decorative finishes. • Prepare and apply stencils, decals, and other decorative items on finished products. • Read and interpret blueprints; inspect surfaces for contamination before painting. • Apply high‑performance protective coatings to metal surfaces, fabricated parts, assemblies and structures. • Select, mix and apply paint using spray, brush or roll methods. • Clean equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed. • Follow Silent‑Aire safety program standards and Alberta OHS regulations. • Work in a commercial/industrial environment; adhere to safety policies and wear protective equipment.

What You Bring
• Complete college, vocational or technical training in a related field (asset). • Industrial painting experience in a manufacturing setting; sheet‑metal painting required. • Proficiency in setting up and using a spray gun. • WHMIS certification and ability to work independently. • Effective verbal and written communication; fluency in English and ability to read blueprints. • Capable of lifting and moving supplies over 25 lb and distinguishing colors. • Ability to stand for long periods and work overtime as required.
