About the Role
The position leads the delivery of cost consultancy and management services, influencing strategic outcomes and key performance indicators. It provides leadership to senior managers, oversees contract administration, valuations, cost control, reporting and claims, and ensures post‑contract cost management drives income and performance improvements. • Manage delivery of key assignments, driving client outcomes, business growth and strategic account development. • Uphold ethical and compliant operations, supporting net‑zero carbon delivery. • Inspire and develop high‑performing, inclusive teams; promote talent growth, innovation and continuous improvement. • Oversee contract administration, valuations, cost control, reporting, certifications and claims to ensure robust governance. • Deliver post‑contract cost management, driving income, performance improvement and business targets. • Lead senior teams through mentoring, coaching and embedding excellence. • Drive best practice, transformational change and sustainable net‑zero outcomes. • Manage commercial and contract obligations across delivery vehicles. • Ensure compliance with NEC contract management standards. • Lead commercial reporting and proactively avoid disputes. • Prioritize safety, ensuring a safe, diverse and inclusive work environment. • Deliver on client promises, building long‑term relationships. • Create opportunities for people to excel through a continuous improvement culture.
