About the Role
The Transportation (Highway/Roadway) EIT/Coordinator role contributes to detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects, handling alignment, profile, geometrics, drainage, plan development and construction estimates, and assisting with technical reports and specifications. • Work with project engineers on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects • Develop alignment, profile, geometrics, drainage, plans and construction estimates • Assist in creating and submitting technical reports, specifications and calculations

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and embrace HDR’s employee‑owned culture. Preferred candidates have an Engineer‑in‑Training certification and proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD and specialized highway design software; those without an EIT start as Design Coordinators and are expected to obtain the certification. • Hold Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (preferred) • Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD and highway design software (Bentley ConceptStation, Open Roads Designer, Autodesk Infraworks, Civil3D) • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field • Candidates hired without EIT will start as Design Coordinator and must obtain EIT for career progression
