About the Role
CoStar delivers real‑time verified commercial real‑estate data, and its Analytics team builds customer‑facing analytics products that combine big data, APIs, and front‑end expertise to create fast, reliable platforms for clients. • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, reusable applications handling large data volumes. • Take full ownership of development through testing, deployment, and production support. • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers, and leadership across the product lifecycle. • Provide technical architecture guidance and conduct code reviews. • Champion continuous technical and process improvements. • Explore emerging technologies, tools, and best practices. • Develop deep knowledge of CoStar’s analytics business and products.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and bring over ten years of professional software development experience, strong object‑oriented programming skills, mastery of modern server‑side languages (C#, .NET, .NET Core, Web API, Node), and proficiency with relational databases such as SQL Server and source‑control systems like Git or TFS. Preferred experience includes working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), strong analytical problem‑solving abilities, and familiarity with NoSQL technologies (Redis, Neo4j) and modern front‑end frameworks (JavaScript, React). • 10+ years of professional software development experience with strong OOP skills. • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Web API, and Node.js. • Experience with SQL Server and source‑control systems such as Git or TFS. • Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure) preferred. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, Neo4j) is a plus. • Knowledge of modern front‑end frameworks (JavaScript, React) is a plus.
