This includes strategic guidance for alignment, proactive risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement through best‑practice implementation and targeted training. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of Technical Program Managers. • Build an agile, curious, and innovative TPM culture that drives continuous learning. • Define, prioritize, and execute multi‑year strategic program portfolios with senior leadership. • Serve as liaison between enterprise‑infrastructure TPM teams and other divisions to ensure effective communication. • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs on time, within scope and budget. • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and engage stakeholders transparently. • Track program metrics and provide regular updates to executive stakeholders.

What You Bring
Autodesk is hiring a Senior Manager to lead a team of Technical Program Management (TPM) professionals and drive strategic initiatives that support the company’s Platform objectives. The role requires a strong background in technical program management, exceptional leadership skills, and a customer‑focused approach to execution and planning. The manager will also be responsible for advancing the TPM discipline across the organization. The position is based in either San Francisco, California or Portland, Oregon and follows a hybrid work model, requiring occasional on‑site attendance. The minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science) with a master’s preferred, at least ten years of technical program management experience and five years in a leadership role, and a strong software development foundation. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as proficiency with project‑management tools. Preferred qualifications feature exceptional people‑management abilities, a proven record of building high‑performing teams, strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, and experience with data visualization, source control, and ticket‑management systems. • Minimum 10 years of technical program management experience, including 5+ years in leadership. • Strong technical foundation in software development and proficiency with project‑management tools. • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills. • Preferred: advanced degree, data‑visualization and source‑control expertise, and a track record of building high‑performing teams.

Benefits
Compensation for U.S.‑based roles includes a base salary ranging from $145,000 to $260,150, with the potential for bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, financial, wellness, and time‑off offerings.
