About the Role
This position can be located in Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Maine. Reporting to senior leadership, the role manages the profit and loss of the Sustainable Infrastructure business for the assigned region and is accountable for delivering profitable growth and expanding market share. The leader oversees the full lifecycle of sustainable infrastructure offerings, from sales and development through delivery and performance assurance, while continuously analyzing local market conditions and business results to adjust strategies. They create and execute long- and short-term strategic plans, develop business budgets, and communicate area forecasts to ensure return on investment for shareholders. Team leadership includes hiring, retaining, coaching, and developing market teams, establishing appropriate staffing levels, and aligning human-resource practices with company policies. The leader also builds long-term relationships with strategic customers, drives account-management initiatives, and works with cross-functional partners to increase penetration of Johnson Controls solutions such as lighting, solar and building technologies. Responsibilities extend to monitoring financial and non-financial metrics—margin, pipeline, utilization, profitability—and conducting regular business reviews to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. The role represents the organization in industry associations and community groups, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations and upholding the highest ethical standards. • Manage regional P&L for Sustainable Infrastructure business to achieve profitable growth. • Identify and qualify new market opportunities to expand regional footprint. • Lead hiring, performance management, and career development of market teams. • Develop and execute strategic business plans, budgets, and forecasts. • Drive sales, project delivery, and performance assurance for infrastructure offerings. • Analyze financial and operational metrics to maintain margin and profitability targets. • Maintain and grow relationships with strategically important customers. • Collaborate with branch organizations and industry associations to increase market penetration. • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and uphold ethical standards. • Leverage Johnson Controls solutions (lighting, solar, etc.) to enhance enterprise value.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or marketing (MBA preferred) and at least ten years of progressively senior management experience in the industry, with a proven ability to lead cohesive teams in a matrix environment.
