About the Role

The role sits within the Payroll Processing team and involves executing US payroll runs, handling employee inquiries by phone and email, and preparing the necessary documentation for payroll disbursements. You will enter timesheet data using Costpoint and MS Dynamics, as well as process one‑time earnings and deduction entries. In addition, you will coordinate the issuance of payroll checks and provide related information to stakeholders. Continuous improvement of the payroll structure and suggesting efficiency enhancements are also expected. Under direct supervision, you will perform routine entry‑level assignments while developing core job competencies and solving standard problems. Responsibility may extend to any Dubai Shared Services payroll operations as directed. The role also offers the opportunity to cross‑train on payroll processing and tax requirements for other countries. All activities must be performed in compliance with federal, state and local payroll regulations. • Process US weekly and bi‑weekly payroll runs. • Respond to employee payroll queries via phone and email. • Enter timesheet data and one‑time earnings/deductions in Costpoint and MS Dynamics. • Prepare and distribute payroll checks and related documentation. • Identify and recommend efficiency improvements to payroll structures. • Perform routine entry‑level payroll tasks under supervision. • Support Dubai Shared Services payroll operations as assigned. • Cross‑train on payroll processing and tax compliance for additional countries.

What You Bring

The Associate Payroll Specialist position is a six‑month temporary role based in our Dubai office, with the possibility of becoming permanent. We are looking for candidates residing in the UAE who have experience processing payroll for the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada. Preference will be given to those who can immediately support our US weekly and bi‑weekly payroll cycles. Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and have demonstrated payroll processing experience for US, UK or Canadian payrolls. Familiarity with SAP or MS Dynamics ERP systems and the Workday payroll platform is advantageous. A solid understanding of tax regulations, wage‑and‑hour laws, garnishment rules, and compliance requirements is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data‑analytics skills, and strong written and verbal English communication are essential. Recent commerce graduates based in the UAE will also be considered. • Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent with payroll experience for US, UK or Canada. • Experience with SAP/MS Dynamics ERP or Workday payroll systems preferred. • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage‑and‑hour regulations. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data‑analytics tools. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • Recent UAE‑based commerce graduates are eligible to apply.
