About the Role

The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, following OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while keeping the vehicle clean and safe. Key duties include completing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, reporting unsafe conditions or service calls immediately, and participating in required training and briefings. Drivers communicate customer requests, dump containers cleanly, position them properly, and submit required documentation and tickets at the end of each route. • Operate heavy‑duty trucks safely on assigned transfer routes. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR forms. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, or service calls to the Operations Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Participate in all required training, briefings, and meetings. • Communicate customer requests and issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump and position containers cleanly, ensuring lids are replaced and driveways remain unobstructed. • Complete and submit all route documentation, tickets, and end‑of‑day check‑ins.
