What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has at least three years of engineering experience in airports or related fields. Experience with AGL installation and commissioning, familiarity with MOS139 standards, and a proven track record of building client relationships and generating new business are essential. Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, planning, financial reporting, time‑management, and change‑leadership skills are also required. The position demands a proactive approach to delivering quality outcomes on schedule, with a strong safety focus supporting Downer’s Zero Harm initiatives. National travel will be required, and the role offers exposure to a wide range of challenging projects that support professional growth. • Degree in Electrical Engineering with ≥3 years airport or related engineering experience. • Proven expertise in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) installation, commissioning and operational airfields. • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as MOS139. • Strong client relationship building and new business development. • Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, planning and financial reporting skills. • Ability to lead teams, manage change and deliver projects on time and within budget. • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
