Plumber 3rd Year Apprentice Technician

About the Role

Apprentices will support Reliance’s customers by installing and maintaining diverse piping systems while following safety protocols and regulatory standards. • Install all types of piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for water and wastewater distribution in residential buildings • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and fittings • Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment • Test pipes for leaks with air and water pressure gauges • Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines • Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and regulatory requirements • Perform general and specific equipment inspections • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of modern equipment and regulations • Provide fully stocked trucks and necessary tools for the job • Work a predictable, stable schedule with consistent hours

What You Bring

Ideal candidates demonstrate a growth mindset, possess Level 3 plumbing apprenticeship experience, hold a clean driver’s license, and exhibit strong communication and problem‑solving abilities. • Hold a Level 3 Apprentice Plumber certification with 3+ years of plumbing experience, preferably in new‑home residential work • Possess a clean driver’s licence and be physically capable of job duties • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and effective problem‑solving
