About the Role
The Global Supply Chain Director is a senior executive responsible for steering the end‑to‑end supply chain and operational strategy of the company. The role oversees supply chain, procurement, production, logistics, and delivery functions to ensure efficiency, cost optimisation, and high service levels. In this role the director will identify key suppliers for the Cryogenic Pumps Functional Unit and secure long‑term global supply agreements, work with functional units to understand cost drivers and pool volumes, and optimise Make‑or‑Buy decisions with robust business cases. Additional duties include establishing a Supplier Quality Assurance process, negotiating logistics partnership agreements, building a global sourcing network in lower‑cost regions, leading the Supply Chain Council, and defining KPIs for sourcing and logistics performance. The director will also collaborate with General Managers and Plant Controllers on standard cost updates, part‑numbering schemes, and corporate terms and conditions, while driving transformation and change‑management initiatives. • Identify and secure long‑term global agreements with key Cryogenic Pumps suppliers. • Align functional units on component cost drivers and pool volumes to optimise cost and availability. • Lead Make‑or‑Buy analyses and develop business cases considering cost of capital and time‑to‑market. • Implement a professional Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) process for all key suppliers. • Negotiate partnership agreements with major global logistics providers to reduce costs and improve performance. • Build and manage a worldwide network of sourcing professionals targeting lower‑cost regions such as Malaysia, India, and China. • Chair the Supply Chain Council to develop the next generation of supply chain talent. • Define and monitor KPIs for sourcing and logistics performance across the organisation. • Collaborate with General Managers and Plant Controllers to update standard part costs and part‑numbering schemes. • Drive transformation initiatives, including change‑management plans, to adopt new processes and systems.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) and possess at least 15 years of experience in operations and supply‑chain management. Required skills include strong commercial and global manufacturing expertise, financial acumen for complex budgets, and proven leadership in fast‑paced, multi‑shift environments. Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, operational‑excellence methodologies, data‑analysis tools such as Power BI and Smartsheet, and ERP/CMMS/QMS systems is essential, together with excellent communication and change‑management abilities. The position may require standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and other physical activities, as well as overtime that can include weekdays, weekends, nights, or holidays. While primarily office‑based, the role involves travel to client sites, production facilities, or industrial job sites, with travel as needed. • Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) with ≥15 years of operations and supply‑chain leadership experience. • Strong commercial, global manufacturing, and financial acumen; experience managing complex budgets. • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and operational‑excellence methodologies. • Proven ability to lead large‑scale, multi‑shift operations in fast‑paced environments. • Advanced data‑analysis skills; proficient in Power BI, Smartsheet, ERP, CMMS, QMS, and Microsoft Office. • Excellent leadership, communication, and change‑management capabilities.

Benefits
